Frans Boumans, lecturer Financial Management at the University of Applied Sciences Hogeschool Utrecht since 2009. Next to HU he lectures also at Webster University and Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Next to the Netherlands he also teaches in other countries for over 20 years.

He received his Msc Business Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam (1981) and his Executive MBA at the University of Rochester/William E. Simon School of Management (1988). He has more than 25 years of experience as banker for Bank Mees & Hope, MeesPierson and ING Bank and addressed many international conferences and  published articles and books during that period.

Frans Boumans has set up minors for SME Advisors and Treasury Management for HU. As researcher and consultant in the area of financial services for SME and large companies he in particular ins interested in new financing models in a changing world. Consultancy assignments for the mentioned minors were received from eg. crowdfunding platform Seeds, riskmanagement advisor ngCompliance and M&A Advisory company BHB as well as listed companies like Nutreco and Wolters Kluwer. Also he cooperates with organisations like Adfiz (financial advisors) and DACT (treasury).

Next to this he initiates courses in coopeartion with eg. the International Banking Institute in St. Petersburg for the Utrecht Summerschool.
