Marijke Luijten has, since september 2014,  been appointed  as a researcher of the research group Innovation in Healthcare Processes in Pharmacology for two days in the week.
In addition, is she since August 2011 attached to the Faculty as a lecturer in Orthoptics . Marijke is also working for a day and a half per week as orthoptist at the Eye Hospital Zonnestraal in Lelystad.
Marijke her research will take place in the framework of the Utrecht eUcepS, European Network of Personalised Health and Selfmanagement.
Several  parties residing in Utrecht, including the University of Applied sciences, are participating and investing in self management.

  • September 2014 - present:Researcher of the research group Innovation in Healthcare Processes in Pharmacology at the University of Applied Sciences
  • September 2009 - December 2010:master of Cultural Studies University of Amsterdam. Graduation subject: the  attention for cultural diversity in the Dutch culture and arts education in secondary schools
  • September 2010 - January 2011: Research Internship Utrecht Centre for the Arts in Utrecht, Department of primary education; Work: evaluation of the Art menu from 2006 to 2011 by means of quantitative research
  • September 2006 - september 2009: Graduation subject: Bachelor of Arts, Musicology, Utrecht University. Thesis: Chance: The Cooperation between John Cage and Merce Cunningham; Minor cultural sociology
