Dr Raymond Slot MBA (born in 1958) has over 25 years of experience in automation, and during that time he has served in a large number of roles such as software engineer, system architect and project manager as well as a number of commercial and line management roles. Over the past 10 years he has worked mainly on enterprise architecture. He was awarded a PhD in January 2010 for his work on the value of enterprise architecture for organizations. He has over 12 years experience working as an enterprise architect in various roles in organizations.
In this capacity he has been involved in developing enterprise architecture and project architectures, developing and implementing training courses in the field of (enterprise) architecture, and supporting companies who are seeking to enhance the architectural maturity of their organization and develop architectural frameworks. He has extensive experience in implementing business architecture (monitoring business processes), information architecture and application architecture. In addition, he has also specialized in architecture in the fields of business continuity management and security.
