Wil van Erp MSc (1962) is a research fellow at Financial-Economic Advice in Innovation since January 2011. Within this Research Group he is involved in the research theme ‘Accounting in Health Care’. He fulfills this in several ways. He is doing doctoral research on this theme (see below). He assists students in their researches on cost calculation within for-profit health care centers and the possibilities of integrated financial reporting by health care organizations. And finally, he is coordinator and lecturer of the minor program ‘Management of Health Care and Welfare’.
Wil van Erp MSc (1962) is doing doctoral research at the VU University of Amsterdam under the name ‘Involved accounting and control in health care’. The purpose of this research is to explore how the application of management accounting and –control systems in the Dutch care sector contributes to a more efficient way of providing care, taken into account that clients will ask for specific and custom-made provisions more often.
