Wilke van Beest has been a researcher at the Research Group of Practice-based Research (MPO) since 2015. Wilke is involved in methodology of practice-based research in the MPO Research Group. In this line of research, her focus is on transferring practice-based research into practice. The development of the PRO model for Hanzehogeschool Groningen is an example of a study that is focused on increasing the transfer of practice-based research. This issue also affects the research programmes of the Research group Marketing, Market Research and Innovation.
Wilke has also been working for the Marketing, Market Research and Innovation Research Group since January 2017, where she is involved in the 'Marketing in Healthcare' line of research. This line of research addresses the growing demand for marketing expertise within the healthcare sector.
Wilke is working from within both Research Groups on a study on the implementation and up-scaling of care innovations deriving from practice-based research in Higher Professional Education (HBO).
